What we collect

We may collect the following information:

  • demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
  • other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

What we do with the information we gather

The main reason for gathering this information is to ensure we are able to contact you about your enquiry and inform you of our products and services. 

Your information may be used for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping. 
  • To improve our products and services. 
  • To contact you to provide information about our services and respond to your enquiries. 
  • From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email or phone. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.
  • If the customer has given separate consent within the online contact forms, we may use the information to send marketing emails related to our products, services and collaborations with other businesses, products and services. 
  • If the customer has given separate consent within the booking process, we may share the name and email address of the customer with Mossy Earth Ltd so they can plant the customer's tree and send them photo and GPS coordinates. We consider this to be an integral part of our transaction and not a marketing related communication. 

We require all third parties to have appropriate security measures in place to protect your personal data, in line with EU law on data protection rules. 

When someone visits we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of user behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify the user. We do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those users of the website. 


We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. 

Enquiry data is deleted from our databases and all data access points if a booking has not taken place or other services have not been used within 30 days. User info from those who have made a booking will be kept on our databases for two years before being deleted. As part of our service we submit video footage to the client over electronic transfer using Dropbox. A link is provided on an email to the client. Dropbox is a secure data storage facility and details of their privacy controls can be found here. Video footage is also sent to the client on a USB via standard UK mail postal service. The USB is encrypted to protect the data on it. Clients will be informed when the USB has been sent and will be asked to confirm delivery. 

How we use cookies

Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. Comments on our Blog

Worthington Films offers a function on the website for users to comment on blog posts. If a user leaves a comment on the blog, the comments are stored and published, as well as information on the date of the comment and on the user’s (pseudonym) chosen by the user. In addition, the IP address by the internet service provider to the user is also collected. This is for security reasons and in case the user violates the rights of third parties, or posts illegal content though the blog comment function. This data will not be transferred to third parties.

You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways:
