Terms & Conditions

Introduction - This contract is between yourself (referred to in the Terms & Conditions as "the customer") & Worthington Films and is activated once the Booking Fee (min deposit of £50 for Wedding Bookings or another agreed amount) has been received. The booking fee is non-refundable. The Product or Service is what is provided by Worthington Films to the Customer. These conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Payment - For Wedding Videography Worthington Films may contact the Customer six weeks before filming to arrange full payment of the remaining balance. The remaining balance must be paid at this time and no later than 4 weeks before the wedding.

Cancellation - For Wedding Videography, if the Customer cancels the order any monies paid to Worthington Films will be refunded to the Customer. The Customer will forfeit the Booking Fee (deposit). Other videography services require payment upfront. This is refundable up until 7 days prior to the agreed filming date. The customer forfeits the monies paid if the booking is cancelled between 0-7 days before the filming date. 

Creative - Unless otherwise agreed, the Customer accepts the decision of Worthington Films on creativity within the Product(s) or Service(s). Every effort will be made to get the best possible position for the camera (s) but this is not always possible if restrictions are imposed. 

a. Worthington Films cannot guarantee coverage of any particular individual on the day. If a particular segment of the event is not recorded, partially recorded or not part of the final edited copy, it is at the sole discretion of Worthington Films. 

b. Every effort it made to ensure perfect colour and lighting but certain conditions such as low light conditions, shadows, flashing lights may effect this. We make every effort to produce the best image possible.

c. Worthington Films consists of one videographer unless otherwise agreed with the Customer. Additional videographers can be arranged by Worthington Films if requested by the Customer 30 days in advanced. This will incur additional expenses for the Customer. 

Health & Safety - Worthington Films & the Customer will act in accordance with all relevant health and safety requirements during filming and delivery of the product(s) or service(s).

a. The Customer(s) must seek permission from all venues where filming will be required.

Liability -  Worthington Films accepts no liability for any loss or damage that may arise from the supply of the Product(s) or Service(s). In the unlikely event Worthington Films is unable to supply the Product(s) or Service(s) as agreed at the time of booking, liability shall be limited to the total invoice value or monies paid by the Customer. In this instance the Booking Fee will also be refunded to the Customer.

Copyright - Worthington Films retains copyright in all their original material.

Traveling Expenses - All packages include travel expenses up to 50 miles from Preston, Lancashire. For distances greater than this Worthington Films reserves the right to charge a fee for further motoring or rail expenses and local accommodation.

Marketing/Promotion - All Products/Services shall be used by Worthington Films for marketing and promotional purposes and may appear on YouTube, Social Media and www.worthingtonfilms.co.uk

Delivery  - Completion is usually within 4-6 weeks from the date of the event (not including any bank holidays). Worthington Films will contact the Customer if a delay is expected.

Worthington Films keeps a copy of all Products for 6 months after completion. After this footage may be discarded.  

Privacy - Worthington Films is committed to ensuring all customer data submitted to Worthington Films is protected under the General Data Protection Regulations and other data protection laws. Please review our Privacy Notice for further details. 

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure all event/wedding guests are aware that filming is taking place and their likeness and voice may be recorded and included in final video footage that may be used for Marketing purposes as mentioned above.
